river-raid
River Raid is a scrolling shooter video game designed and developed by Carol Shaw, published by Activision in 1982 for the Atari 2600. The game involves flying a fighter jet over the River of No Return, scoring points by shooting enemy tankers, helicopters, fuel depots, jets, and bridges. The game uses procedural generation to create non-random, repeating terrain due to memory constraints.
